We are pleased to offer swim lessons, Masters Swim, youth swim team, water fitness classes, open/lap swim and aquatic special events.
From our aquatic pumpkin patch to under water egg hunt, we've got a variety of special events year round! Check back seasonally as our events change throughout the year.
The Blue Fins is a competitive youth swim team open to any swimmer from Kindergarten to 12th grade who meet the minimum requirements. Our emphasis is on teamwork, individual motivation, self-esteem, and fun. Swimmers improve their swimming skills, get great exercise and make new friends.
Meets are generally Friday nights and occasional Saturdays. Parents are asked to help at home swim meets.
Take these courses and become an American Red Cross certified lifeguard, lifeguard instructor or water safety instructor. Individuals must pass a skill test dependent on certification course.
Participants MUST attend all dates and times. No exceptions!
Masters Swimming is a fun and challenging workout that helps improve stroke technique while building endurance. During this 10 week session we will focus first on technique and then on endurance. We swim all four strokes, although butterfly is always optional; feel free to join us even if you haven’t mastered them. Our workouts are easy on the joints, are scaled for different fitness levels and abilities, and provide great exercise for the entire body.
We offer membership and pass options for everyone! Ranging from a 10 visit punch pass to an annual membership. We've got something for you!
A healing meditative approach to the ancient practice of yoga using a slower paced flowing style. The calming effect of a restorative yoga on the nervous system helps the body & mind to renew & rejuvenate, alleviating the damaging effects of our everyday stresses. The calming effects of this type of practice has been known to support the immune system, and the body’s adrenalin system. While using deep natural breathing that signals to the brain you are ok the body & mind responds by going into a deeper state of relaxation promoting greater healing. Along with the inner calm this class also supports increased flexibility & balance, strength & resilience, increased circulation and greater health & wellness. This is an active flow “All Levels” practice. No previous yoga experience needed.
Equipment needs/desires: Please have a yoga mat, blanket or towel and if you would like, 2 blocks and a strap. (Note: Not required but beneficial. A belt can be a great substitute for a strap.) Feel free to contact Kathryn with questions. firstname.lastname@example.org
The Cambridge Pool is excited to provide your family with a new swim lesson program starting Summer 2021. Along with teaching children how to be safer in and around water, we also introduce them to life skills of self-confidence, perseverance, and courage. We are committed to providing an environment where your child feels safe enough to try new things and accomplish their goals. Our instructors are Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certified and Lifeguard certified by the American Red Cross.
